Tl Trans.

I was just wondering if the 99-02 TL (non type S) have any transmission problem as the TL-S AND CL-S do?

I'm planning on buying a non type S TL so any respond would be helpful. Thanks

Every auto trans from 00-03 has problems in the Cl and the Tl , and it doesn't matter if it's a S type or regular . They all suck . I am an acura technician and the only safe trans is the 99 3.2tl because it's an auto 4 speed trans and not the crappy 5 speed

How about the 4spd auto on the 2001 V6 (J30A1) Accords?

the 2001 V6 Accord with 4 speed auto was included in the 'extended warranty' and therefore is garbage too!

Thank you.

So GEN 6 V6 Accord and ALL 2nd GEN TL's/2nd GEN CL's are affected basically?

My understanding is, if I haven't gotten a letter, I'm not eligible but still have some negotiation/arguing rights?

ASK yourself the tool question:
Would you buy a "snap-on" wrench, made with US steel or a China/Japan made wrench ? ALL THE TRANSMISSIONS ARE MADE IN JAPAN................................what don't you folks know about Japanese metal ????????????????????????????????????
