Questions about '01 CLS Transmission

Hi everyone,

I brought a used Acura 3.2CL-S back in June for $3,500. It had just about 183k miles on it then and today I hit 189k miles. The tranny was reportedly rebuilt a year ago, however he provided no proof or documentation. Anyways, I've been thinking of rebuilding it again myself around 200k miles. My question is, how can I verify that this tranny is the original that or a remanufactured one? Also, where would the best place be for finding a rebuilt kit for the tranny? The main reason I want to rebuild it is because of sometimes erratic shifting and hard shifting. It's not too bad when using the manumatic and shifting myself, but even then its rare to get a smooth shift. Optimal shifts only happen around 2500rpm with no to little throttle. It gets tedious to time the shifting when driving it automatic, which I'm forced to do when shutting my parents here and there. So my final question is, would rebuilding the transmission to spec help the hard shifting problems? It happens most noticeably around 2-3 and 3-4. I'm also looking into cleaning the solenoids first since some have said that relieves hard shifting.

tl;dr:
How can I verify if the tranny is the stock tranny?
Where would be the best place to find a rebuild kit for the tranny?
Would a rebuild alleviate hard/erratic shifting?

Please let me know, thank you for your time.
