Lemon yet or not?

I bought a 2001 Cl-S auto in September 2005 after the tranny had already been replaced once in 2003. In October 2005, I had the tranny replaced because of slippage. And now, February 2006, I'm having the tranny replaced again.

So all in all, I'll be on my 4th transmission. Would my car qualify as a lemon or does the tranny have to go 1 more time?

a lot of states don't cover used cars in their lemon laws

also, I'd bet most states require the repair attempts be made for the same problem by the same owner within a set period of time (usually either 1 year/12k miles or the term of the original warranty).

based on the info you provided, it doesn't sound likely your car would qualify...
