Has anyone polled manu dates of cars with bad trannys?
Would it make sense that we keep track of everyone involved in this forum that has had tranny problems?
We should get the Model, Manufacture Date, and when the tranny went out?
I can't tell from reading this if this is 1% of Acura CLs have the problem or if it is a much higher percentage. We know Acura isn't going to share that info, but we can get some ideas ourself by knowing how many people are on this board, and how many people say they have had tranny problems.

They are doing that on the TLS forum and I just don't remember if that data was logged. Someone (Chod) may have stored the build and buy date, but I just don't remember.
The TLS people seem to have hit on some nasty dates in the Mar/Apr 2001 range.
IMO -- It would be a good idea to do this again (but then some people may not want to "remember"/refresh their bad memories)...
