A fix or a band-aid?
Does the oil squirter fix the problem or just put it off until the car is beyond 100,000 miles? I changed the trans oil in my 2001 CL-S at 1,000/15,000/30,000 & 45,000 miles. It now has 59,000 miles and the transmission feels exactly like it did when new. Car was purchased in March of 2000. Do I pass on the "FIX" and wait to see what happens, and then do it closer to the 90,000 mile mark? Any chance another "FIX" will come out in the future? Let me have your opinions.

Band-aid...
If you had some kind of 2nd gear problem, you might be heartened.
However, if you are hoping to cure the Achilles heel (heels) in the tranny -- well, don't hold your breath.

Honda just wants to get past the 100,000 miles, so they are off the hook. I think they should be more responsible and provide an unlimited warranty on their poorly designed transmission. If they had truly fixed the failed tranny, then 100,000 mile warranty may have been sufficient.
