first time going in for my tranny
Going to Acura dealership tomorrow morning for my tranny. Not sure how it will go if they will give me any bullshit or not. Any I should expect that they will give me, or to say, TRY.

Ok so im in Boise right now. Its a 4 hour drive from where I live. I had to come here because we don't have a Acura dealership in Idaho Falls. The closest Acura dealers around me is Boise(4 hours away) and Salt Lake City(about 3 and a half hours)
I had a appointment at 9 this morning and heres what happened. I let the guy test drive my car for a bit. When he came back he said, my tranny isn't running that well (duh) BUT its NOT bad enough that they will replace it yet.
So he said he will take me for a ride in a car that is at the point that needs to have its tranny replaced. So we took a ride in a 01 TL. It wasn't even that much worse than my car. It slightly took alittle longer to shift gears than my CL, but barely. The TL also hasn't started to drop gears yet either.
I told him that I didn't want to wait till my car gets to the point where i need to have to tow it over to either 2 of those cities. So he basically says he doesn't know what to tell me.
I was hoping to get all this done by summer before classes start. I will be too busy to deal with the tranny problem once classes start. I am trying to finish up early my last year.
I wanted to sell my car for a 6 speed CL before i get to this problem. Too late now
