Does modifying parts void transmission warranty/recall

If I replace parts like headers, exhaust and other common mods would that void the transmission recall, or would i have to return back to stock before taking it to get fixed. Another thing i read above about the recall and it only mentioned 01 and 02 CL's, Do 03 autos have the same coverage?

depends on where you live cause like in cali i know they have to prove that those modifications caused the said covered item to go bad. One of the main ones honda check for is to make sure your using there transmission fluid and nothing else except i think one or 2 they have approved. So the anwser i guess is idk.

haha well thanks for the shot at explaining, im not sure what the rules are in maryland but that makes sense for them to need to prove the modified part caused it to fail, im lookin to add intake and exhaust and wanted to check just in case the transmission failed i wouldnt be screwed tryin to return back to stock

headers, exhaust, and intakes wont/shouldn't void the warranty. i just wouldn't go and put a turbo or supercharger on there and really expect them to do the tranny transplant under warranty. youll be safe with what you have said you thought about doing
