Yokohama S-Drives issues

Just bought 4 and had them installed a month ago. Bubble formed on sidewall in 2 weeks on front right side and last night I hit a curb at about 2mph and the front left side sidewall busted open, ruining the tire. So in about a months time, two brand new S-drives are going to need to be replaced. Yokohama offered 50% off on the bubble tire, but I haven't had a chance to talk to them about the 2nd tire. It seems as if these have some weak and fragile sidewalls. Any thoughts? 215/50/17 on stock rims

Thanks

My last set of tires before I changed in December was a model of Yokohama I can't remember which but I also bubbles form on 2 of them and I didn't hit any curbs. The previous owner had these installed and when I bought the car they had about 1000 miles on them and I would say within 6000 miles the bubbles formed. Especially after hearing your story confirming what I already thought I won't be buying anymore Yokohama's.

I had some Yokohama All seasons before these ones and had no issues with weak sidewalls. These S-Drives are another story.

I have the Yokohamas on my A-Specs and I just got a bubble myself. I am not sure what to do. Would the dealer replace them for me? How do I go about getting that 50% off replacement that you were talking about? I have never had a bubble on the sidewall before and I am not sure if it is a weak sidewall or something else.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

They offered it to me because it was under 30 days from date of purchase.

I ran S.Drives on my old 18s and I wouldnt hesitate to put them on again. I loved them. I put around 15k miles on them I think, with no issues.
