Winter is rapidly approaching...
And I need new tires... Ill be honest and didnt look any further than the 1st page of this section and I didnt search at all.
With that being said, what brand tire has everyone had sucess with swapping on to their stock rims?
Please take into consideration: Performance, Road Noise, Overall Price/Value. I was thinking of going back to Toyo's which I have always used but Im sure there are plenty more brands that I could be looking at.

Update: 9-24-2004
I still have not witnessed any "flatspotting" on any of the 4 tires. I now suspect this only occurs with the cum-ho asx's that are in sizes larger than 215/50. i got the ASX's in the same 215/50 stock size and they are an absolute bang for the buck. I recommend it to anyone seeking tire replacement (same as stock size)
Short update review:
I have had some extensive rain driving now with these set of 4 cum ho's. They are fantastic in the rain. Shit, they are absolutely better than stock shitlin oem tires guaranteed. They are quiet, provide really great grip on both dry and wet! I have yet to try it in snow, but assuming it does so much better than stock oem shilins, I know it will provide far better traction in snow than the OEM shitlins. They are really cheap and worth every penny. I was going to go for the continental extremes, but the sidewall was uber :ghey: and so I went with these cum ho's. They really are good tires for the money spent!

Thank you very much I'll look into them. The Conti's were my other choice after the Toyos.
Now what if I decided to go with a 215/45 instead of the stock 215/50?

Ok well chalk it up to impatience but I just bought a set of the Kuhmos from tirerack.com shipped to my house for less than $400, and I got 215/45/17 because im not happy with the sidewall size of the stocks and now I might be able to go a little bit lower...
