Will a 245/40/17 fit
I have these almost brand new winter tires which are 245/40/17 and was wondering if they would fit on my 01 cl type s( stock suspension). i know the tires that are on there now are 215/50/17. I tried searching but nothing came up. Thanks in advance.

Null and proud of it
Sorry, I started out serious like you, but the mentally around here has absorbed me.
In other words, they will fit, but bulge out and look weird, and be really soft and floaty from what I've read.
Like a pair of huge pants held on by a tight belt, it will look like parachute tires.

Not quite as bad as I though. Here's a tire sixe comparison calculator on Tacoma Forums. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc...0r17-245-40r17
