Will 18" ADR Sokudo Rims and 225-45-18 tires fit without rubbing?

I'm new to the board, so forgive me. But, I'm wondering about fitment. I have a 2003 Acura CL 3.2 (not type-S), and bought new rims and tires. I purchased ADR Sokudo 18's. They are 18X7.5 and 42" offset, and I'm wondering if I'll have any problems with rubbing. I have not lowered my car, and purchased 225-45-18's to keep the wheel diameter the same as the stock 205-60-16's. Any any advice would be appreciated.

Jim

Since its not lowered, i doubt it will rub.
And i thought it was 225/40/18 to keep stock diameter?

i've used 225/45 on 18x8 and lowered, worked fine. i first had 235/40 and there wasn't enough sidewall.

Thanks for the advice all. I'm getting hubcentric rings. Also, Kumho Ecsta SPT tires.

Here's a link to the rims, I couldn't decide between the Sokudo's and a "mesh" rim, but I thought these would look better. Lastly, I caught another thread where people had said the offset on the stock is +50, and not to go below +42. I assume +42 is ok then?

volk knockffs

225/45/18 is fine. Less than a 1mph difference at 60mph. the offset is fine if youre going to ride on stock suspension, but it may rub if you want to lower it later (and believe me, you will want to lower it).

anyway, do post pics when you get em on.
