Wicked Racing camber kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WICKE...QQcmdZViewItem

What do you guys think? Would this even fit 2g Cls as it doesn't look like the Ingals design...

there is a few different designs for camber kits. this will work but why not just get spc like everyone else? this is only for rear anyways so you will have to buy spc and pay another shipping fee. alignment shop should know how to adjust, let them know beforehand that you have a camber kit on it and which type.

cause its $70 bucks instead of $130 and looks like it's decently well made...and I don't think I am going to need a front kit. Having the car aligned soon so I will know for sure.

You get what you pay for. And the Ingalls setup is better b/c you can adjust toe and camber.

why do people "think" they dont need a camber kit. you either need one or you dont. im new to acuras so maybe its different but my past 2 cars if your lowered you need a camber kit plain and simple

It depends. I needed a camber kit for the rear, but not for the front, because I'm lowered less than 2" (Tein S-Tech springs). I have a life-time alignment at my local GoodYear and they can always adjust myfront into the green range, but without a camber kit on the rear they are unable to do so.

It's the same design as SPC. It aslo has a castle nut for a cotter pin, stock just has a lock nut.

Living in MN, I'd get either the SPC or Ingals. The Wicked adjusting sleeve is aluminum, there's no telling how the threads or the finish will hold up in the weather, unless you only drive on dry days.

The toe is adjustable on the stock setup. The stock rear lower arm has an ecentric on the inboard side to adjust toe. The Ingalls kit replaces this arm but the SPC and Wicked doesn't, so I can understand your confusion.

RooEng - thanks for the sound advice, esp taking into account the aluminum sleeve. I did not consider this as a potential issue but your explanation makes sense. I will avoid this considering my location and weather.

Will it be cheaper to have the Ingalls installed/adjusted at the shop since they don't have to mess with getting the ball joint out and since they are more accessible at the bottom of the suspension?

You'll have to ask whoever is doing the work. The SPC only has one arm per side that has to be replaced, Ingalls has two per side. So they might charge you more for labor. Like you said, the Ingalls kit is more accessable but when it's on the alignment rack, the SPC arm is easily accessable. I installed the SPC kit myself and used a Pep Boys free rental ball joint tool, getting the ball joint out took less than 5 minutes. I set it by eye and drove it to the alighnment shop and they did the rest.

Alright SPC it is then. I didn't realize you needed 2 Ingalls per side - that is $$$$.

Mods if you want to change this thread's title to "camber kit general info" or something like that it might be useful to people searching...
