I'm running the stock 3G TL wheels (17") on my '01 CL-S and I'm looking to pick up some new tires. The stock TL wheels are 235x45x17 I believe, but I know a lot of people in the TL forum run 245x45 and some run 255x40. Assuming any of the above fit the TL rims, would any of these pose a problem on the CL? Rubbing issues? I'm bone stock, no drop. Looking for summer tires (thinking about the General Exclaim UHP, actually).

 

245/45/17 will rub, 255/40/17 rub. 235/45/17 on 17x8 45offset and no drop should be rub free and close to stock diameter.
