Warning-Stay away from Wheels One (long)
Okay, I've been meaning to post this for a long time, so here goes. This is a general consumer warning for any of you guys who are looking to purchase any aftermarket wheels/tires/ or parts. I bought my wheels and tires from a company known as wheels one (aka wheelsone.com). I've luckily have not had any online purchasing problems until dealing with these guys.
I thought I was getting a great deal from these these guys, $1599 for 18" ADR Enigma wheels and Toyo FZ4's. ( I wanted the all season Toyo's rather then the TS1's). But a few weeks went by and I didnt recieve my order nor did a recieve any sort of invoice via email as they promised me (since I ordered over the phone). I sent them numerous emails and phone calls, still no reply. Eventually I left a long message and threatened to cancel my order/consult my credit card company and a few other things...
Then they finally called me back and said that the order came back to them for some reason, and they would send it out again... so there I was, waiting again! The thing that pissed me off, they didnt even look into the screwed up order until I harassed them.
"Oh....it seems like your order didnt go through...hmmm...interesting...okay, we'll sent it out pronto!"
What if I didnt call them, who knows if they would have sent me out anything?! Well, the ordeal did not end there!
When I finally received my package, they sent me the wrong fckin tires!!! I got khumo's instead of the Toyo's! So I did some research, and in terms of quality/ tirewear/ etc... The Khumo's were almost identical to the FZ4's. So then I sent a bunch of emails and phone calls again, and finally got in touch with "Bob" from Wheels one, he then told me to send back the package and he would get me the right wheels/tires. I was so fed up at this point I didnt want to deal with him so I deceided to keep the package and asked him to reimburse me for my trouble or at least refund me the difference of the Khumo's. He said "okay, no problem."
I NEVER heard from him again... I called him sooooo may times and sent him a slew of emails again. No replies, no answers. What's up with that?!!? I know when I first bought these wheels, I plugged him based on his awesome prices. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!!
Dont get me wrong, I was very patient initially and I gave him the benefit of the doubt ititially, but this company is the most shadiest company I've ever dealed with!

I'm posting this on a few other forums, and I have already submitted my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Please post on other forums as well guys!

Thanks for the warning, I was looking at this site last week, very slick site and decent prices. Now I know better! BTW, it's temporarily down today, did you crash the site?
