Toyo TPT's or Yokahama Avid V4S's ???
I have narrowed it down to one of these tires to go on my 2001 CL-S. Looking for comments from people who have these on their car now or in the past. I know there are higher performance tires avaiilable, but I am looking for the combination of ride quality, noise level, performance and tire life. It is my understanding that either of these tires will out perform the stock MXM4's. Comments?
Thanx in advance.

I am currently running the Toyo TPT's and from my experience, these tires are very nice. Hardly any road noise, great traction in dry and wet, and they are rated for all season. They still kinda chirp on the corners but you can feel them stick. They also have the nice little lip to protect the lip of your rims. I absolutely love these tires. I also tried the Yokohama Parada Spec-2 and Falken Azenis. They all feel just about the same if that helps you at all. But the TPT's are absolutely amazing, atleast compared to the stock Shit-e-lins. I haven't tried the V4S's, but you can't go wrong with the TPT's. Only flaw in the Toyo's are the price...pretty damn expensive but worth every penny to me. Hope that helps.

I've got the TPT's and I'm very happy with them. Compared to the stocks, the TPT's are superior. They're great in the rain, snow and take the corners pretty good for an all-season tire. Road noise=quiet. As for tire life, I've only had them for a few months, but if they're anything like the toyos I've had on my past vehicles then they should last years. If you car is a daily driver like mine is then you should be happy with the TPT's.
