Toyo Proxes 4 or Falken Azenis ST-115???
Need your help guys, I've narrowed it down to these 2 tires.
Best price I can get for 235/45-17 on my stock '03 rim:
$562.67 Falken Azenis ST-115 (360/A/A)
$626.76 Toyo Proxes 4 (300/AA/A)
Both these prices include the mounting and balancing along with rotation, balancing and a full replacement road hazard warranty for life of the tire.
Which would be a wiser choice? Anyone have experience with both?

Hey GSRblack, I looked at some past reviews of the tires you are looking at and I think you would be happy with either the Toyo's or the Falken's.
Both are a big improvement over the stock Michelin tires, and going with the 235-45-17 will also help limit wheel spin from a launch.
Good luck and I will pay attention to your decision.

I ended up getting the Falken Azenis ST-115 in 235/45-17 from Discount Tire. Actually, they scratched one of my rims right on the rim (not on the face, but around the edge where the rim protection is). They said they could replace it or get it fixed....but instead I ended up going with a discount on the tires. So, they pretty much charged me for 3 tires instead of 4. I was thinking that sooner or later I would end up scratching something and I could use the cash now. Who knows...after these tires wear out, I might replace with some 18s or 19s.
These tires stay planted pretty firm on the ground...i'm getting used to the feel. What's cool is there is no more wheel screech when I turn!
But with the tread pattern, my stock car looks funny....I think with the money I saved, I could go get some springs put on.....that's my next dilemma...which spring is best? I'd like to do springs, shocks, and sways right away, but need to do it in increments. I need an alignment pretty bad, so I'd have to decide what to put on next...what do you all think? Springs? What kind?
