They were great tires until I seen this

The tires were a few years old, the car was always garaged and the serial # date code matched the date I purchased them. I haven't heard of anybody else having the same problem so mine might be an isolated case.

I'm on the ass end of my third set (235/45/17) and have had good luck with them thus far. Will need new tires in the next 5K or so. I might try a set of BFG KDW-2's or get a forth set of 4's. I have found them (Toyo's) to be a pretty good tire for the money.
YMMV

I had good luck with my 4's also. I feel the are one of the best all seasons I have used on the CLS. I drove them in all weather conditions in Colorado including ice, light snow and blizzards with heavy snow and lots of rain. They shed the water well. No complaints for an all season tire.
The BFG KDW2's are my favorite tire for a summer tire. And thay actually shed water very very well, and do well in llight snow. Zeta I would try the KDW2's since you live in S. Florida (Homestead? Miami?) I think you will like the upgrade from the all season Toyo 4's. Its a much tighter feeling tire response wise.
I have the KDW not kdw2 on my 2wd Tacoma and ended up doing a 180 on a corner on a cold damp road the other day. I tried to power though and counter steer but I could not get the cold kdw's to grab and that light ass end just swung around to fast. I think I'm going to have a hard time this winter with this combo. Might have to sport the AWD Pacifica . uuugh. So after these BFG's are done i wil likely look at a set of Toyo proxes 4's. Great all season that will get down in the summer time!
Rooeng, did you contact Toyo about that? That looks very dangerous man! Were these on a CLS? Do you corner very hard often? Not that that is an exuse for that kind of damage, just curious.

The tires were at the end of their life. The tread was down to the wear bars, they were slightly worn more on the inside due to the camber so I didn't see any point in trying to contact or get anything from Toyo. They were still holding air and I didn't notice any handling issues. I do corner hard but nothing crazy and not very often.
