Tires Mounted Incorrectly By Dealer?

Can someone tell me if there is a white dot or other marking on the inside of a 2003 type S OEM 17 x 7 Acura rim? (by inside of rim, we mean the part of the rim where in order to see the dot or marking the tire would have to be dismounted).

The dot represents where the low spot of the rim is and I found out that on Falken tires the red dot is to be lined up with that marking on the rim. . .

thanks!

Are you talking about the red spot near the bead? This is found on almost all tires and indicates the lightest spot and should be mounted next to the valve stem.

No "low spot" on rims that I have seen, Acura or other.

On Falken tires (mine are ZE326), there is a painted red dot and a painted yellow dot near the tire bead, on the sidewall of the tire. In other words, there are two ways to mount the tire on the rim. The yellow dot, which indicates the lighest spot of the tire is to be placed above the valve stem or preferably the red dot, which indicates the high point of the tire is to be placed at the low point of the rim . . .
