Tire question

I have 03 cl wheels
the 215 width seems a little whimpy for me
I want to upgrade to 235
I have the 03 stock rims and i am lowered with comptech springs
Can i use 235/45/17 tires without rubbing?

I want to 235x45x17 the diffrence is the tire is smaller by a 1/2inch which means when your speedometer is reading 60 mph you are really only going 59.33 mph i have a web site that shows any seize comparrison
