tein s. tech vs h. tech?

i want to drop my ride mainly for a little bit better handling and slight drop from my 4x4 stance.

i've been reading great reviews of the h.tech springs. i found them for a good price and have decided to get either the s.tech or h.tech's.

i know the s.tech has a slightly lower drop. is the ride the same? and will i be able to use my stock shocks?

thanks.

If it's a subtle drop your looking for than go with the H.Techs. Handling will def. improve. I have them on with stock shocks - 43,000 on stock springs and about 3,000 with the H.techs and it rides like stock.

Honestly, if you want to close the wheel gap, but dont want to DUMP your car and fuck up your cambers, then this is the best drop out there. Its still subtle enough to get around in the city and in and out of steep parking lots, but still is low enough to increase handling and looks. Let me know if you have any other questions. I have been using the Tokico ILLumina adjustables and the Tein H-Techs since April and I love them.

cant speak for the s-techs. It would look good but it would be too low for me. I need to be practical.

rear close up stock wheels

front close up stock wheels

h tech drop with 19z

htech left h&r sport right

and the s-techs would more than likely need cambers too

thanks for the replies guys!

looks like i'm going to be getting the h.techs.

...i've heard silver is the hardest color to match when getting repainted that's why a lot of bumpers look off from the rest of the car.

Thumbs up HTechs and Tokico Adjustables

HellaShookone- Thanks for your reply to the other persons question on the H techs. I was ready to ask if anyone has the H techs with the Tokico adjustables. It sounds like it's a great balance of handling and ride without beating the car up. I live in Mass and have 30K on my 03 and I figure in the near future I'm going to have to take the springs/shocks plunge and I definitely want to lose the 4 x 4 look without beating up the car.

Thanks!!
