Struts
I just put my 18" summer wheels on and whenever I take a corner too fast or hit a bump I hear this scrapping noise from the back wheels. I think it's my struts, does anyone know if replacing the struts is covered under the extended warranty plan? Thanks.

Not quite sure how strut / shock can scrape...unless it's broken or something...the scraping noise most like comes from the wheel scraping the wheel well...but that's only if you lower your car....is your car lower?...if it is...what's the offset on your wheel?....

I haven't lowered the car and I just took a closer look, the passenger side rear wheel has some scratches on the inside of rim, the noise only comes from the rear wheels and it is definetly metal scrapping something, my friends have told me its prob the struts but i have no idea.

That's interesting....It's either the your rear wheels have a very very very bad negative Camber (in order for the inside rim to scrape the strut tubing body) or there are some loose link connection in your rear suspension.....
The struts are pretty stationary....the only part that are moving are the strut's piston rod...which won't scrape anything since they're covered with a sleeve....
My suggestion, bring it to a knowledgable mechanic ASAP....you don't want to make it worse...you can't play around when it comes to suspension....
let me know how it comes up....

Type R is correct....you won't get any excessive negative camber if you don't lower your car...unless...there are broken links on your rear suspension...in that case...it's dangerous to drive your car...
To be safe, just bring it to a mechanic....you'll be better off

The wheels are 18 X 7.5 with a 45mm offset, I'll try to post pictures. Also I just got my car back from the mechanic and he said everything looked fine so I have no idea what to do.
