RB is a questionable place. There are numerous people who've had issues with them. I say send them back if they don't fit right.

so i did a little playing and i think with a 5-7mm rear spacer they'll clear the springs...the wheels by the way are xactly what they said and for under a grand i got some Work's that are what i wanted and im not complaining about wider width with just gotta refigure the offset clearing spring issue... actuLly my boy is the one who put my down with Rb and they actually gave me a lower price than advertised... just gotta call and haggle, well pics forthcoming cant wait to be rockin 10.5

you have a lot of work ahead of you. id go ahead and relocate the rear bumper bolt that holds bumper on. your gonna need to do a really good fender roll. get a camber kit. i would have gotten coilovers. its almost imperative for this set-up.

Good luck.

But something tells me your traction control/ABS will be going crazy with two different tire sizes.

1.) rwd staggered staggered setup on a fwd vehicle is kinda weird, but hey, that's just my logic. Just get ready for the rear end of the car to hang on while the front lets go around an aggressive turn, aka understeer.

2.) wheels dimensions are measured from the inner bead where the rim meets the tire, not the outer edge. Same thing with width and diameter.

3.) for a 2001 CL, I doubt the shocks have much life left in them, you should really look inot Bilsteins or something besides the OEM shocks. Coilovers will be noisy, maybe tokico yellows or an adjustable shock that will allow the standard spring to be slightly adjusted until the desired front to back gap is achieved.

Good luck!

The setup you have is 100% doable if you know what your doing. Yea your going pretty wide in the rear but you have a really conservative offset. My setup is 19by9 front 41 offset 225/35/19 19by10 rear 36 offset 245/35/19.

so i got the tires mounted yesterday after work.... not happy... i decided against my judgment and went with a 40 series tire..... well guess imarun them tell there worn out... diddy the reason the rims are so hi et. is that i figured the higher the better cuz i can always add spacers if needed ... but i dont wanna poke i wanna tuck... same reason i went with 18"s instead of 20"s i want lowlow

actually i looked at your set up and pretty much ran off your numbers so i figured with either a 5 /7 mm spacer in rear itll clear springs and have the rear at +40/+38 which should be fine considering im running 18's and we all know are kinda small for our car plus i plan on i get fenders pulled rolled.. i know on my vw there ..+28/+31 didnt want that much poke looking for an airirde look without the airride turmoil it should sit nice hope gonna go get the rear tires mounted in a lil have mock up pics shortly ...DId i hear UPS oh no my mind playin tricks on me

Work Efors! I remember them from RB's website. They were going for about ~$800, how much did they set you back?

Nice looking wheels. Is the lip on the rear wheels wider?

I noticed in the pics it looks like you measured the overall width. You only showed half of the wheel so I can't tell how you measured it. The correct way is to measure between the beads. If you measured the overall width including the very outer lip, 10.5", then you have to subtract 1" to get the wheel width, 10.5"-1.0"=9.5"

well he wanted 9.5 in the rear but they sent him 10.5. tucking with a 10.5 wont be possible unless you run a lot of camber and pull fenders. i cant tuck with my 10's unless i do the same but i like my poke.

did you need to run spacers for the rears to clear the springs?

when i ran 10.5 +36 and the rears compressed going down a driveway it rubbed on the strut of my coils. not much camber either. 10.5 requires a lot of fender pulling.

Thanks Phillip! I'm looking at a set that are 9.5 +43 in the back and was concerned if I should buy spacers.

i got 7 mm spacers rear but as of right now no im not using them but im also running a et 45 F&R and im rubbing a little, with lower offset u should poke more so u should be fine but gotta roll fenders relocate bmper bracket nothing major, im also running the lowest spring possible (DZ)2.5 front & 2 rear on stock shocks with a lil over 1000 miles on em, when i went to get an alignment i have front rear camber kit but i was so close to what i want for now i didnt install either... maybe when i do the shocks but no biggie..its not that big of a mission and the look in person is crazy.
