Review on TEIN Basics COILOVERS

Hello AZ people... I just installed my TEIN coilovers last weekend and i had to tell you guys how great they are.
Before getting these coilovers I was riding on Eibach pro-kit. The drop looked really nice, but the handling wasnt much different from stock.
At first, when i installed the front coilovers and took it for a test drive, I couldnt feel that much of a difference (I didnt do the back cuz I couldnt figure out how to take the back seats out). So I had to pay this mechanic 50 dollars to do the 2 on the rear. After i got all 4 installed I could feel the difference right away. The car didnt feel like a boat anymore, it felt planted to the ground. I could take curves much faster without my tires losing traction and going 100mph on the freeway felt more like 70mph. What I also noticed is that the car doesnt pull me back or push me forward as hard when i brake or accelerate (which i really like). The ride feels stiffer but not much bumpier than before.
In conclusion, I would recommend these coilovers to anyone that was planning to upgrade their suspension. They are not that expensive and worth the money. I got them from Excelerate and he gave me a really good price...

How is the ride, is it stiffer or softer when compared to stock. Is it bouncy at all?

The reason why many people who lower cars get the bounce is because they don't use a strut/shock that is strong enough. With a true coilover set like the Tein Basics that shouldn't be a problem since the spring rate and shock rate are matched.

At that point, you will want to make sure that the tires will clear the fenders under compression. Also, you will need a camber kit for a drop like that, and you will have to get the Ingalls kit which replaces the entire upper control arm. The SPC one, which I have on my car now, has a large nut on top to hold the ball joint in, and cuts stroke clearance. I have these nice dents on my shock towers, thanks to the SPC front camber kit.

I've already bent one of my wheels because of this.

When the nut hits the shock tower, the suspension has no more travel distance so it stops dead in its track. But the force of the impact has to go somewhere.... hello, tire/wheel. I suppose it's better than bending suspension components.
