I had one go out on my old 2000 tl. I didn't have the time to do it, so I purchased the part and took it to Sears.

It was 9X.XX dollars, not very expensive considering the bearing has to be pressed in and out of the hub.

Not a hard job at all for a shop.

I forget how much I paid for the wheel bearing though.

i've never changed the rear but i did just change the front passenger. you will need a press and probably a puller so if you don't have one, go to a shop
