Re: Megan Racing Coilovers
Anybody running these?
Megan Racing Coilovers
I know they make other products that Aziners are quite happy with it but haven't heard a single word about their coilover setup.
Thoughts/opinions welcome.

I have a set on my Supra and a set ready to go into the CLS...
As for the Supra, and for what the car is, its a really nice setup.
32 adjustable settings for the dampening, and a decent amount of ride height adjustment. BTW, I have them set at 30 out of 32 and its a nice ride. Perfect for every day use.
The CLS kit looks identical just different top hats and bottoms.

Cool...yeah.
I'm not really looking into a set for mine because I have Tein SS-P on the way.
But...
Wanted to put this thread out there for others on the forum to give them some options.
This sounds like it is a decent set and I am surprised others aren't running it.

where did you buy the megan coilovers? Im planning on switching out my tein ss because it doesnt drop low enough. i know the megan ride is pretty smooth because of adjustability but tein ss doesnt really give me the full coilover effect. some how the rear sits way lower then the front all the way down all around. still high for my taste.

Well...when I looked them up I found them on a couple of websites.
Not as common as some of the other coilover setups but you can definfitely find them.
Did you click on the link above in my first post?
Megan Racing Coilovers
They certainly sell them there...

get these springs. super cheap and ride very nice (as long as u install them right)
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/merchant/idrive135i?_nkw=springs+98+accord&_nd1=&_fromfsb=& _trksid=m270.l1313&_odkw=&_osacat=0
I'm very satisfied w/ the ride quality.
this is a pretty similar thing as comparing comptech to xs headers.
exact same replica of tein s-tech. same color, same coding.
not just that, but the box they came in was also an exact copy of tein s-tech box. the only thing missing on the box was the Tein logo.

Im considering a set, but they run 14/6 springs rates pretty weird, little stiff up front but really soft in the back. The Euro Accord Tein Flex setup is 14/8. Im also considering the K-sports, D2 Racing coilovers. I heard they are using the same components as Apex'i so I suppose im considering those too.

This is coming from a noob to the forum but I had a set on my RSX-S. Never had any problems with them. I couldn't place my cell under my car and still had another 2 inches to go. I'm planning on getting another set for the TL soon. IMO Tein's ride to soft and put me to sleep, heck the stockies do too! Can't wait to get them.
