Powerslot Plus BBK

Ok folks, might be a stretch but here goes: There's a BBK made by Powerslot that uses the stock calipers (I know, I know, ours leave a lot to be desired..) that they market as Powerslot Plus. However, they're made for the Honda Accord V6. Has anyone here even heard of this kit applied to our car? I read somewhere that we can use some parts that are/were made for the Accord V6 with similar years. In this case, could this be a possibility? Reason I'm asking is because though I would like to have a BBK for my car ('01 CLS), I can't because BBK prices are a bit steep for me & maybe others here. Anyway, any input/comments are always welcome...

i wanted to do this as well with my Legend calipers, i never got a concrete answer so i just went with regular rotora rotors. its worth a shot tho....

you should look for a used BBK on the black market, it would prob be as much as those rotors with new grippy pads.

the only thing that I dont know about is the bolt pattern. I know we are 5x114.3, but isnt the accord the smaller 5x100?

I might be wrong though...

you are....

in theory it should work. brake assembly mounting is the same....thats why you can run the Rotora kit for the accord on the CL/TL.

Thanks folks for the input..please keep 'em coming! Pricewise, the Powerslot's are priced around $500, while BBK's from either Brembo, Rotora, Greddy, Project Mu, etc etc...are priced way higher...

btw, the Accord V6 BBK that I saw was for auto trans only. I've copied the description below for discussion purposes:

NOTE: All Power Slot Plus brake kits require the use of larger diameter wheels. Check the dimensions of your wheels carefully before purchasing.

Power Slot Plus Big Brake System:
The Power Slot Plus system uses a larger diameter, premium quality Power Slot brake rotor combined with your original factory brake calipers. Our patented caliper relocation brackets space the factory caliper further away from the hub to accommodate our oversized brake rotor. This increases brake torque force without affecting pedal effort or travel. The larger rotor is also a more effective heat sink, absorbing the heat generated under heavy braking. This greatly reduces brake fade and provides consistently shorter stopping distances, especially from higher speeds.

KEY FEATURES:
Premium quality, larger diameter Power Slot rotor with Vac-U-Slot technology
Relocates the factory brake caliper for increased braking effectiveness
No special brake pad sizes required.
Use an original equipment-sized high performance pad (sold separately)
Patented design U.S. Patent # 6,305,509
