Pleasantly surprised with Kumho ASX's-so far
I just received my winter tires, a set of Kumho ASX 225/45/17. When they arrived I was surprised to see that they were 225/45/17R 94W, indicating that they are reinforced and have a 94 load rating.
I guess I just assumed they were going to have a 91W rating like nearly all 225/45 series tires.
The sidewalls of the tires are midway between the very stiff summer tires and the balloons that came with the car--they are firm, yet not stiff. Tread pattern looks good as well.
We'll see how they stack up later this year...
