Pirelli P6 Four Seasons

When I walked out of work last night I had a flat tire. The tire shop couldn't repair it, so I had to get new tires. I had the choice between Goodyear RSA, Cooper SLE, and the Pirelli P6. I chose the Pirellis in 235/45 on stock rims, although he said I could try them out and take them back if I didn't like them. My problem is that I need a high-performance tire that can handle snow very well. Winter roads here are a bitch. Did I make the right choice or should I get something different. They also had Dunlop SP5000. They basically carry Goodyear, Pirelli, Cooper, Dunlop and maybe Falken. Please help as I need to solve this asap.

I did some research and decided that I'm going back and getting the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 in 235/45. These Pirelli's don't have very good reviews. It's a no brainer.
