out of commission

Last week we got some good rain here in NY and when driving to work I noticed I had no traction. When washing my car I took a good look at my tires. On my fronts, I noticed that the outside thread was completely gone after 1000 miles of driving lowered on coilovers. I turn the wheel to look at the inside and look what I see...

Toyo Proxies down to the metal! These wheels only have roughly 10000 miles on them(~10000 with an eibach prokit drop and 1000 with coilovers), Im so glad that this did not blow out on the Saw Mill Pkwy.

I go to put on my tsx wheels and find a nail in 2 tires, pull them out and they go flat.

Not a good day...

I bought a camber kit for all 4 tires but they did not come with the bolt that tightens the adjustment rod and this prevented me from getting a alignment.

Let this be a lesson to all you lowered people that think you don't need camber kits!

I'm lowered and don't have camber kits on and never had this problem maybe you got a bad set of tires. I'm not saying Toyo's are bad but maybe you got a bad set of them.

He has a camber kit, but was missing components to adjust the alignment. That was the problem and most likely why the tire went bad after 1000 miles.

I have a 2 inch drop, I'm the original owner and have only had 2 sets of tires in that time.
