Well first, it's not something that can be done by anybody. You have to take your car to someone who know what they're doing so they don't mess up your fenders.
Basically what they do, is just pull your fenders out (in a special way) and it gives you more clearance for your wheels.
It sounds really simple, but it is something that has to be done right. I've seen some people try this own their own and it looks . Get someone that knows what they're doing and you're good.

$80 sounds pretty good actually.
And it's an aggressive offset yea, but it's not crazy either.
What I would do is roll the fenders, get the wheels on there and see if there is any significant rubbing after that. If there is, then you might have to resort to the fender pulling. But you never know, you might not have to pull them after all.
The wheel game is just trial and error.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. I have Enkei's on my car right now but just ordered XXR wheels. I'm 21, don't have a good job, want to get married and love modding my car. So I had to think of something else. I couldn't get the wheels I wanted from Volk or Work because it's just way too expensive (especially the specs I wanted) so I went with the cheaper alternative. And I'm not ashamed because I know they're going to look sick.
Hopefully after I get married and land a better job, I'll get some Volk or Work wheels. But for now, I'm happy.

i like the xxr's. im only 21 too and living with my gf and her daughter. i have a job but make minimum wage so we are not much different. i wanted BBS LM's but they are too expensive so i ended up buying some Stern ST-5 wheels. and i got Nankang NS2 tires. imo the nankangs are a very grippy tire so i went with them. this will be my second set

Lots of negative camber may give you more clearance, but you will eat your tires. Toe is the major cause of wear, but even w/ this in spec, too much negative camber will eat your tires if you drive any considerable distances. "Stance" to me loses its appeal on a daily driver if it significantly affects practicality. Goodluck.
