New Tein setup -vs- Ksports

Ok, so i read all the reviews and picked up a set of Ksports last year anyways. And for my first set, i was really happy with how they performed. I knew the car would ride a little rougher, and i wasn't educated in coilover systems so I didn't know any better. Well I've been on my new Tein SS Coilovers for a couple weeks now, and damn what a diff! Thanks Excelerate! I had to raise her up slightly cause the Tein's don't go as low, but the ride is night and day. even on the tightest setting if feels like stock compared to the Ksports! Now don't get scared away from Ksports, for the money, its a nice way to start, but if I knew then what I know now, i would have splurged the extra bit and gone with these things first!

Just look at the diff between them, easy to tell where that extra money comes in!

Boom!

Can't forget about the angle...

Beautiful gap!

That gap is about the same as my Comptech Springs/Tokico Blue setup. Is that the lowest setting on the TEINs?

If you want coilovers that have a stockish feel then yes tein is the way to go. All you have to do is look at spring rates to figure that out.

On my car they don't. For some reason when I installed them one side in the front did go a little lower but I wanted it all to be even. Thats the lowest with the ride height being even.

IMO the height you have it set at is perfect. Im not a fan of tucking tire or anything like that.

Yeah winter does a number on them. They still work perfect (except one) and the threads are all covered with bead sealer to protect them. I just didn't peel it off before I took the pics...

I remember some time ago everybody was saying the opposite. Hahaha. I guess it's all relative.

BTW, your stance and headlights look awesome. Need to change your sig too.
