hey, are new tires supposed to be noisy or are the yokohamas noisy anyway? i heard they weren't supposed to be that noisy. i got the AVID Y4S and just drove home from the tire place. they start makin noise at 60 mph and kinda annoying.

any comments?

I am not sure about your Yokohamas, but in my experience all new tires will feel and sound a little different, especiallly at first. Double check the pressure and then see how they feel and sound after about one or two weeks.

i bought some gforce sports not to long ago. i thought it was my old tires that were noisy as hell. nope i'm thinkin it's my wheel bearings now.

The reviews at tirerack.com overwhelming call the Yokohama AVID V4S a low-noise tire, so it could be something else. My Current tire is Dunlop SP Sport FM901, and they are LOUD--I'm looking for a replacement now.
