New NITTO 555 235/40/18 tires on Konig Imagine, Silver, 18"x7.5" wheels!!!!

I just dropped $1525 on new wheels and tires:

Here is the deal from Tires Town Fair:

Starting from a quote from discount tires of:

4 x $151 for the NITTO 555 235/40/18
4 x $215 Koing Imagine, Silver, 18x7.5
1 x $40 20-lugs, 4-locks and 4-valves
$73 shippinng
=============
$1577.00

Now here is the deal he matched:

4 x $153.75 for the NITTO 555 235/40/18
4 x $215.00 Koing Imagine, Silver, 18x7.5
1 x $039.80 4-Wheel Computer Balancing
4 x $002.75 4-Stem valves

FREE 20-lugs, 4-locks
FREE Mountiing
Future 4-Wheel alignment is just $33
==============
Total is $1525.80

Still $50 less than Tires.com. They wheels and the tires should be here and installed by Tuesday!

Eric, the Konig are, 18x7.5, 23.8 lb each and have a +45 offset.

I hope that I will not have rubbing, nor negative impact on the performance.

Here is the Konig wheel:

I was trying to squeeze the guy to make the deal $1500 and he did not budge. He was asking first for $1550 and dropped to $1525.

I would have paid at least $25 for the Mounting anways.

Finally, I gues it's the time for a nice car wash, inside/out cleaning and detaing, and new coat of Maggwire's wax.....

Well, one of my replies got trashed -- don't know what happened.

My tire guy loves the 555s, keep up posted.

The wheels should fit, and offset looks right.

Here is a link to a Nitto 555 review page. All great reviews:

Congrats man!

I was looking at the same rims just last night. Although I was quoted 285 per rim, which is high, but I did not negotiate, just wanted to know the price. I like those rims, I think they would look really nice. Keep us posted. I also would like to know if the offset it correct.

Actually, they should work about as well as the stock 17 wheels. They look nice and the price seems good.

Do you know what a set of really light wheels cost, that don't explode?

I absolutely LOVE those tires! I had them on my type R and they didn't even sweal when I pushed the car to the limits! I am also defiantely going to buy those tires. Anyone from the NJ area can write me and I can get really good deals on tires. My friend works at a tire place and gives them to me for almost cost

Yes they do, and if you want 17x7 it's 20.7 lb and you can dress them with TOYO T1-S 215/50/17, 235/45/17 might be too wide for 17x7 though. Check with Nitto if it's okay or not.
