New to aftermarket rims - will this work

I have a bone stock silver '03 CL Type S... My plans are to get 18" rims with summer tires, then mount winter tires on my stock rims (I live in MN) this winter. Right now, the suspension is stock, but I may be lowering it next year - we'll see...

I've picked out the rims I want, but I'm not sure they'll fit. I've never had aftermarket rims before - I understand offset and all that fun stuff, I think...

I've decided on 5Zigen ZR+520 18x8.5" hyper gunmetal wheels with +47 offset, running 235/40 tires (looking at Yokohama S.Drives now).

Pic of wheels

Any tire recommendations will also be greatly appreciated. I don't plan on taking the car to the track, so most driving will be "spirited" city driving.

Will those rims fit without rubbing, and if I decide to lower my car next year, will I run into problems?

Otherwise, would I be better running the 18x7.5" +52 offset rims? But all the 235/40 tires I've looked at want a minimum 8" rim...

Thanks!

I would use the 18X7.5 +52 rims with 235-40-18 tires. The width is fine for those tires.

The other rims will fit when not lowered, but once you lower it you will likely rub in the back & would need to roll your fenders.
