Need an honest opinion

Working with the dealer to get potential CT springs and sways. As we talked, he seemed to lean more towards the Tein SS coilover system. The setup will be stock CLS wheels. I want a drop that allows me to purchase some 18x8 wheels without any rubbing issues, get awesome handling and steering response, and a clean dropped appearance. So with that in mind, what do you think: CT Springs & Sways or TEIN SS Coilovers.

You'll be fine with CT springs and 18"x8" wheels. Although with the current CT spring thread about being prone to rusting... I might look elsewhere. But you don't need to jump all the way to coilovers... there are many other types of springs out there. Take a look into the H&R Sport and Eibach. Both will work with 18"x8" wheels

IMO, there's no need for the Tein SS unless you are racing, etc. You pay for the adjustability of these things and if you don't need to, don't spend that kind of money just to set it and forget it.

^ I agree with you to some degree. Without the EDFC ability on the CL-S the TEIN coilovers aren't as useful as they are on the TL-S and other cars where the EDFC will work. But if you want the PERFECT drop for your car... the coilovers are for you.
