Just curious...

but what does the 'JJ' stand for in 18x7JJ? Yes, I tried searching but couldn't find anything here or on the net. Is it significant in any way?

It's the bead type... you didn't find anything on the net because you didn't know what it was called It just denotes the shape of the bead (where the tire meets the rim to seal).

http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html and scroll down to this heading:

J, JJ, K, JK, B, P and D : Tyre bead profiles / rim contour designations.
BTW, that webpage has a ton of useful info... everything you always wanted to know about tires/rim specs and were afraid to ask... all summarized on one page (it's a euro page, but still good info).
