How much can I widen the fenders???
I got some rims really cheap and would love to keep em but there is quite a bit of negative camber goin on. How much can I flare out the fenders using the fender roller and having it push more towards the outside on the inside of the fender?
Or is there another method that I could possibly pull these fenders out a hair to make that up so its at least almost flush?
The rims are:
D'vinci 20" Blade II rims
235x8.5"x30 series toyo proxies (front)
275x10x30 series toyo proxies (rear)
Thanks

just keep in mind, pulling the fenders would help a little bit, but not THAT much. those wheels are way too wide for our cars.
here's an example of a pulled fender:

Yeah that works great for a junk drift 240, but so much on a CL... lol

you shouldn't have even had to test fit those rims to know they wouldn't fit, I don't even think anyone is running 10's in the rear on a CL ... that would be coo if you had a wide bodied CL for that staggered fitment to work... I agree with everyone else sell them and get the right set of wheels for the car. Rims make or break a cars appearance IMO or is at least are big part of it, don't rush into buying rims. I'd go 8's drop it and roll your fender's.

Obviously I am not drving around on the rims, I was simply asking if anyone had ever widened the fenders and did something a bit more innovative with these CL's than buy the same size rims as everyone else and drop it. I am sure people have widened stock fenders or installed wide body kits to fit some more aggressive looking tires and be a bit original.
But whatever, keep rockin' the same trends...

It's not like a normal jap car where there's an aftermarket. The CLS gets very little aftermarket support.
Body work is going to be custom, expensive, & time consuming work.
If you have the time & $ go for it.

Thanks for the reply fuzzy...
Thats the kind of info I am looking for. I have spent a ton of time on the net looking for kits or aftermarket fenders but the CL doesnt really have a huge list of aftermarket parts to shop from unlike some other Honda's like the S2000 or Prelude.
It's a shame because these are great cars with a still very popular fan base...

not sure if anyone caught the OP....there is no negative camber going on. camber issues only come into play with lowering the car. as stated before the camber is way off. id rather get wheels that someone else has that fit than be different and get laughed at. i see all the time just the opposite of yours, ill see RWD cars and trucks that have FWD wheels that are 7 inches wide and high offset made for a civic, really makes the car look silly
