I’m dumping my deteriorating RUSTtech springs and probably going with TEIN coilovers.
As the title says, how long can I expect them to last?
And if the shock portion dies, can you replace just that?

your comptech are rusting also, I heard alot about this lately, I don't know how long the tein ss coilovers would last i only had mine for about 2 months, but you will love them, trust me.

 

i've had each front shock repaired once since in about 2 years.

I'f I dust them off, they still like brand spankin' new.

 

Bumping this post to get some more opinions/feedback from people who've had Tein-SS coilovers with high mileage.

Mantis was the repair to the front shocks done under warranty by Tein? Does that warranty only apply if you've bought them new? Or does it hold up after transfer of ownership as well?

mantis doesn't have teins, he has zeal coilovers i believe
