I'm looking to switch out to one of the above tires. I can get the 452s for $480 out the door or the Proxy 4s for $600 out the door. They are both rated at 300 tread rating. Are the toyos worth the extra $120? I haven't been able to search on this site and find much on either tire.

I'm on my third set of Proxy 4's (235/45/17) and have had very good luck with them. This last Feb. I purchased them from 'Edgeracing.com' for $104 each; however, they have since raised the price to $115.

I've averaged about 30K on each set on my CLS-6.
