Eibach pro kit with sway bars or f&f type 1 coil overs

Hey guys. I have an 03 CLS6, just trying to decide between these two options and see how it worked for everybody. I have access to 2 different set ups. Function and Form Type 1 coil overs or an Eibach Pro Kit with the sways that come with it. I can get the F&F's used for about 300 plus shipping. The Eibachs would cost me closer to 650 brand new with the sways. I know that the F&F's drop a lot lower, but the Eibachs would be a more comfortable ride... What do you guys think? Right now its on stock wheels but will be going on RJ Inspyre 19's.

don't do the eibach unless you want a reverse rake look, go with adjustable coils. see my picture thread for examples of eibach on a 6 speed. it will annoy you eventually, trust me. i switched to coils and wasted time and money on the eibach...

Wow!!! So the front sits that much higher than the back huh? Maybe I'm better off doing the coils then! What do you think of F&F

Yes, the eibach was meant for automatics. The 6sp is lighter in front, hence the reverse rake. As for FF's, no opinion.

Don't even bother wasting your money on F&F coilovers; they are poor quality. And you'll likely need shocks as well as springs. I'd highly recommend getting the TEIN Street Basis. It's a superior setup over the F&F in terms of quality, ride comfort, durability and performance.

That is entirely untrue. Megan Racing coilovers have a tendency to blow. The TEIN coilovers very rarely "blow". TEIN's quality is ten times better than Megan's.

my 2 cents:

I had the Eibach Pro-Kit Plus (springs, shocks, sway bars) installed on my CL-S & i love it. I added the Ingalls front uca's to correct camber. IMO, it's just the right amount of drop. Gives the car a clean look.

the pro-kit is probably a very nice option but only for automatic CL's.

I have the Eibach springs and the drop is so annoying now. I am eventually going to coils. I suggest Teins, and XLR8 has the best prices on them.
