I know Big O tires has a deal where it's $15 bucks per tire, installed and balanced, w/free lifetime rotations. They will also fix flats. It is very improbable that you get a puncture so bad that you will need the thing replaced instead of fixed.

Any type of warranty plan is in the interest of the seller. Probabilitywise it's probably a bad deal (say the tires are at $420...is there a 1 in 6 chance that your tires will need to be replaced)?

I think it depends on the tire you get. If you looking at $125 or less tires, I don't think it's worth it. If you looking at $200 tire ... well, I might think about it then. On the last few sets of tires, discount tires has given me the warranty for free!! You might want to shop around and see if you can get a better deal. Which tires are you looking at?

Let me be the first to tell you that its worth it. I had an impact bubble on my front and rear right hand side tires. I had about 10k miles on them and they replaced them no charge. The only charge was to buy the replacement warrenty again. I'm glad I did.

the certs that discount tire offers is a great benifit. every time my tires blew out or had gotten messed up beyond repair, they've replaced it no charge. or if the tire has been repaired more than twice, they'd replace it.

does discount tire sell them only for new tires they sell or can you get them for the tires on my car. bought the car a few months ago. have 5K on them now. but i'm worried about "bubbles". if discount sells them for oe tires i'd like to snag some.
