Doesn't it depend on the tire?

I just go by what's on the sidewall.

dont go by whats on the side of the tire. thats the MAX pressure. You should just stick with the VEHICLE tire pressure. You can go up and down to whatever you like, but do not set it to the max pressure.

Yeah I don't set it by that but I use it to gauge how much air to put in the tire.

I usually do around 80% of the max pressure of the tire.

Depends on the tires, rims, car load, & what you like. Play with it. But don't go below what lists on the door jam as the factory PSI.

My 18's I run 38 cold all around. Once heated up they get to be about 40-41. Max pressure on the tire is 50psi.

I don't know where some of you guys are getting your PSI numbers from. Do not run what is listed on the sidewall of the tire. That's the maximum PSI that the tire is rated for. Just run what's listed on the door jambs of the car, that the factory recommends.

i aim for 40psi cold.

this thread is for people who run non OE stock sized tires. like me, im running 235/40/18. I doubt you should put 32psi in that.
if your running stock size, then yes, you should run whats indicated on the door jab or a couple pounds higher
