comptech springs

From the look of this picture , do ya'll think I'll have a rusty problem coming soon. I have 5 days left on the 2 year warranty, will comptech will replace these with the new eibach springs? Don

The pics aren’t showing for me, but the only advice I can give is get on the phone right away and make the claim before the warranty expires.

From your posted pic, it seems you have a super minor case of rusting only in a few small areas, but not all over the place like some people have had. Regardless, I'd get those things changed out asap once you get in contact with Comptech. Not very reassuring for a spring to break/collapse while driving, especially now that winter is upon us.... rain, mud, snow and road salt, etc.

See what Comptech will do ... did you get it done at the dealership? I did -- the parts manager hooked me up with replacements (non-Eibach). Still waiting for my Tein springs to come in from Japan, though ...

I put my Koni Yellows and new CT springs on this past weekend (I filed a claim before my 2 years was up)... hate to tell you, but the new springs are just painted too....(no powdercoating)...so my guess is, I will end up with the same problem again.
