Coilovers

The coilovers came in today. Having not one ounce of experience with them, and unable to give a comparision between these and other brands as to the quality, I guess I'll be taking my chances. They seem to be made well, the threads are smooth and everything seems to turn smoothly as well. They seem to be a knock off of some kind. I was told there are only a few makers of coils, but who knows. I wouldn't be surprised if these are made for the K-Sport as they have the same adjustibility as theses, 24 way. The box says Function/Form. Typical Asian to English translation. Here are some pics. Because Hurricane Chris is out there, I won't be able to install these till next week. I hate Hurricanes.

How do you like your D2's? I had considered them and saw they had nearly the same features as these. I was quoted 875.00 shipped for the D2's but went with the 825.00shipped ones above.

I coulda got you the D2's for $800.00 shipped. They ride pretty stiff but for a car like yours to put down that power I'd say you'd be better off going this route then the soft Tein route.

D2 = Ksports = Whatever Jim bought.

Wow, what company is that? that looks EXACTLY like my ksports, but red.

looks anondized to me.

What spring rates are they?

Check out NSXNEXT's (I think it was his) spring isolator fix for his coilovers. Otherwise, you're going to be in for a very squeaky ride

AMR engineering put there label on them, I think there all the same as you pointed out. the spring rate is 10/8, hopefully. hmmm, i'll have to hunt that spring isolator fix down, do you have squeaks?
