center cap opinions

I am trying to decide what center caps to use on my 18x8.5 SSR type F RS wheels. The 2 I am looking at are the ssr caps that have a machined aluminum and carbon fiber look, or the center caps from the new Acura RL that are painted silver with the A logo chrome. I know the SSR caps will fit but not sure about the RL ones. It looks like they will fit but the clips would have to attach to the center hubcentric ring. Would I have any issues having the caps clipped to the hub ring? Here are some pics

I like the RL centercaps cause the silver matches the wheel color perfect. There is a small gap around the caps of like half a millimeter but that dsnt bother me. I am just concerned of how to attach them. As you can see the SSR caps just kinda pop on like the top of a glass jar does whereas the RL caps have the clips. Would I have any issue attaching the RL caps to the hubcentric ring cause it fits perfect around that and would be flush with the wheel? Any comments welcome.

If you can get to them to fit, go with the RL ones. But I wouldnt be pissed running the SSR caps.

Anyone know if attaching the center caps to the hub centric ring will work or is that a bad idea? These wheels are only 18 lbs each btw just weighed them. That is a decent weight savings for going up an inch in diameter and going from 7 to 8.5 inch wide.

I just set the cap on top so it wasnt pushed down all the way. The rl's are plastic if thats what u mean by cheap. The SSR are metal. One issue I see is anyone can come up and pop off those ssr caps without any tools. That would be alot of money to lose easily.
