I would highly recommend STOPTECH components. We offer brake packages using STOPTECH components for the Acurazine community.

Those are some beefy brakes. I'd love to have a set, but I haven't got the money...

I got the StopTech Cryo-SportStop Drilled Rotors from www.Tirerack.com

But for pads, I bought the Akebono Pro-ACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pads. BEWARE of the Stop-Tech Brand of brake pads as they are junk according to my experience.

See this link:https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-problems-fixes-70/whatever-you-do-dont-buy-stop-tech-brake-pads-bad-install-maybe-868057/

My original description was not "bad install maybe" but "POS"

I have a bad experience with stoptech rear rotors I got from Excelerate, they were warped from day one did complete brake job front and back. I should of sent them back but I am from Canada so too much work and money. So that's my experience not sure if it is shared around but thought people should be aware.

STOPTECH does Quality Control checks on all the rotors they send out. It probably would have been good to contact us in order to help you out. Honestly, though, we've had the least of amount of defects out of any brake brand with STOPTECH. For us, it's probably less than 0.5%.

There's a lot of factors that go into a "warped" rotor. Improper pad bed in, improper wheel torque, rusty wheel hubs, etc etc

One reason why I stuck with oem, all I did was changed my caliper and pad, stock rotors no issues for 190k miles

Gotta love NSX calipers.

I'm so tired of my vibrating steering wheel when braking.... I have an 01 cl-s & have come to the conclusion that the factory rotors are for those who don't speed... So decided to try something new. I used Brembos on a previously owned Accord & they worked fine. Looked at StopTech, PowerStop & Brembo. Decided to go with Powerstop, the final deciding factor for me was the warranty. 3 years/36,000. StopTech is 90day/3,000. Just installed today so I can't really say too much yet, except they stop much better then factory rotors. Time will tell, hoping for no more warping....

Sloted / drilled rotors off ebay $300 for all. Love them still after 3 years. I can kill any brand of rotor in 6 months. I went cheap because I always have any brand I use warp. I thought I would keep the rear and have to toss out the fronts in a few months. I can't believe they are still like new. Sometimes you have to watch that you're not paying big bucks for a name.
