Best Tire? Need them!!!
I have a 2001 CL-S with stock rims. I want a good all around tire that sticks out a little to protect the rims. Any comments are well appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. Now that I know the right size, that is half the battle. Now I need to decide on the tire itself.
I did some searching, but have no clear answer. I live in south Louisiana and am looking for a good all around tire. Any suggestions??????

A good summer performance tire should have pretty good rim protection.
Im running Falken Azenis ST-115 but they dont have much of a rim protector. My old tires had Bridgestone Potenza RE090 and they have a great rim protector! I mean it stuck out like an inch past the rim. no way you could curb with those tires, but the treadwear life is crap and the tires are pricey.
If you want, you could go in to a tire store and feel/look at the tires and see how big and thick the rim protector is for each model of tire.
