Hey Soop,

Why are Axis wheels so affordable?
And they are 19's too!
E.g.
Se7en 19x8: ~$329
Se7en 18x7.5: ~$249

These 19" sevens weigh 24 lbs.--the same as the stock CLS 17".

Fishy? Axis sells their rims to Japan
and states that they measure up to the standards over there.

Damn 19's give trouble though..more stain on suspension, less ride comfort, rubbing, bending rims..

I have no idea.

Based on comments i've gathered from the forum throughout the days most agree their high quality wheels.

And phil2 had 19" Se7ens on his Integra and never bent a rim. And on the roads round here thats impressive.

I cant comment on the ride comfort of 19's... since I've never had them. But... fuck it... their so fuckin pretty!!!

There are so many good looking wheels...be curious to see how Acuraman's Zenetti's hold up 'cuz those are sweet. Be my choice I think. If I change to up-market wheels, to go less than 18" seems pointless.

These are somewhat similar to the SEMA wheels, but they have a weird design. I don't like how one half of the split spoke design comes up higher than the other half.

you don't like the BS5's? they are heavy. imo, 18's will look small on our car. that's why i'm not getting em.

bk01cls,
I strongly suggest you talk to OGolden1 on this board; he can give you an earful about Zenetti rims in the direction of NOT buying them...he showed us a polaroid at the meet of what happened to his rims and they are scarrrry: broken rims look like a bad dental job of a toothless person

Is there a Certain type of "forging" or process that makes the wheels stronger...or is it just that all "forged" wheels are stronger due to the Process ?

Best Forged Wheel Manufacturers ?

Rice1304 from the TL board had these on his car and someone took some beautiful shots of his car at an AutoCross... made his wheels loook great!

But mysteriously... I cant find his pictures on the board and he doesnt have any shots in the gallery. Weird.

I'll ask around see if anyone can find them.

Anybody got any VOLKS 17s or 18s on their car? If so, could you post some pics. I'm seriously thinking about a set.

Light like the Volks, but I promise you won't see many other people with these rims.

Unfortunately, RH released an EVO version of these rims that costs a lot less, so I'm sure they will become more widespread soon.
