Adam's right, you can't have a true "Deep Dish" due to the high positive offset, but I think the Borbets on my car accomplish that look pretty well with decreasing radius spokes?

This place in Miami called Red's Hydraulics, kinda a ghetto place, well I called to ask abt the Lowenhart Br-5 but i asked for 18s and he said 2800 without tires. So i asked how abt tires and he said just add 500. So 3300 doesnt sound so bad for Lowenharts.
Im getting Lowenharts but still undecided on getting either the BR5 or BSD.

How much did your SSR Evolutions cost? Is this the "GP-O Decolte Evolutions" or something else? Any pics of your CL-S? Thanks.

They were about 5 bills a piece when they were silver, I then sent them out to get powdercoated gunmetal. They are the SSR GPO Evolutions.

Here are a couple of pics

Just saw a GS with 20" Lowenhart LD-1's at APG (local perf. shop)

They are no doubt the best looking rims in the world!!!

Im comparing them too all the wheels they had there... and they are the sweetest looking! The chrome is simply beautiful... everyone elses chrome looks cheap!

Thanks for the pics blxmjx, those are pretty sweet rims, esp. for a black car! I wish I had the black car, but I'm SOOOOO lazy and didn't want to keep it clean all the time.

These are the Zenetti Valeo wheels I bought for my CL-S. They are 17x8, chrome. I just got them put on the car this morning with Toyo Proxes T1S 235/45zr17. I'll have to take and post pictures later, but the weather really sux today!

I like the 'split' 5-spoke concept with a good view to the calipers/rotors. But, now I have to paint the calipers some sort of color -- black maybe, or PDG, same as car.

It's really tough to tally a vote from this thread because of all the 'objectivity' of the topic. I mean, there are zillions of wheel styles as well as zillions of different tastes. I just hope everyone is happy with what they end up choosing!

Have a great holiday weekend everyone!

I need to make mad loot so I can have a tight set of wheels for every day of the week.

Rock the Lowenhart one day, some SSRs the next, then some RacingHarts, then maybe those MOMO Sports I love. Who knows.

And HOT DAMN those gunmetal powdercoated SSRs look great!

It cost me around 2 bills to get them powdercoated, thats because they got to strip the original finish and take the wheels apart because they are three piece wheels and I wanted to keep the lip polished. If I wanted to make the whole rim gunmetal that would be a lot cheaper.

The BS5's are gay. The only reason I give respect for them is cuz they cost crazy cash. But I know several people with them on Lexus's and they look like shit... they let all the nasty brake/suspension work show through. And they look TINY.

The BR5's are tight... I still havent seen them in chrome though. I'm tryin desperately to find a pic.

The LD1's are beautiful. Look at the pic typeR photoshopped for me:

I must get these. So pimp.

And they look BIG on a car. So 19's will look 20"

...and the lower profile rubber on the 18's, does it affect the ride comfort and noise much if at all?

Thanks

I really haven't noticed much of a difference with the road noise, but the ride comfort is intact, you can feel more of the road irregularities though. Nothing really substantial but noticeable nonetheless.
