Acura CL-S...Tien S tech vs. Eibach pro-kit

Okay, so I currently have my car lowered on coilovers(no name), but it is too bouncy(uncomfertable//emberrasing).

I've done some research myself about which springs give a better drop&I've came to thee S tech and the eibachs.

Eibach
F:2"
R:1.7" drop

S tech
F:2.1"
R:1.6"

Are there specs correct?

Which will provide a better ride quality&better stance?

-thanks

If youre looking for stance, you need to go with coilovers. What brand coilovers do you currently have?

I don't know bro..I got them for a cheap price(from amazon) and I didn't think it would be so umcomfertable.

The stance is great
(Stock)
Front there was a 4 finger gap.
(With coilovers)
about 1.5 finger gap

I just really want to get rid of the coilovers&get springs(either Eibachs or tiens)

Any other springs that are nice?

Drops for the springs are as follows:

Eibach - 2.0 Inch Drop (FR) & 1.7 (RR) For Acura 3.2 CL 01-03 (Incl. Type-S)
TEIN S.Tech for Acura CL 01-03 - 2.1 Inch Drop (FR) & 1.7 Inch Drop (RR)

We have both in stock too if interested. Both are good quality and will ride similarly. The Eibach Pro Kit might be a tad softer. Also do you need shocks?

I'm dropped on eibach pro kit, and they have been great for my application, stiffer than stock but soft enough for everyday driving. As for stance, even with the lower drop F, the gap is slighty bigger than the Rear. You can see pics in my build thread.

Before I didn't care about the comfort, but now that my car is bouncy...I cannot stand it.

Is there a big difference in that ".1" drop?

I don't need shocks, but my friend is works for a parts store&he is going to throw in lifetime warranty on some bilstein shocks(each 54)

I've read on other posts that Tokico HP shocks with tienns are great togethher!

That would drone like crazy and sound like a Civic.

And regarding your current suspension setup. Since you mentioned you dont need struts, Im going to go out on a limb and guess that you picked up those "coil over" sleeves from eBay? Thats why your car bounces like crazy.

Actual high quality coilovers wont bounce around and neither will a strut/spring setup. Bilsteins, Konis, and Teins are good struts.

Honestly, the only option for the CL is either CT-E axlebacks or the Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust. The Tanabe exhaust is a fully stainless steel exhaust that doesn't drone and is throaty. But on a college student budget it might not be feasible for you.

The tip is just for show. If you want, you can get magnaflow mufflers put on. A lot of people have those and they dont have complaints about them.

But would it worth it to save up just to get a Axle back insted of just doing a Magnaflow? and I was also thinking about doing Tien H springs for my CL

I have H-techs on right now, I like the comfortable ride but I wish it was a little lower and the handling can be improved. But at least I don't have to worry about scraping or rubbing. Car still looks good though.

Changing out the exhaust would only yield a few HP, the stock CL-S system is already pretty free flowing. You would be doing it mostly for sound.
